My first was a missed m/c, so I had a D&E at 11 weeks rather uneventful as far as the procedure, camping etc. My SIL who had 5 m/c told me at the time to do the D&E or D&E as m/c naturally is "midevil."

I miscarried naturally the two times, and she was right. Bad cramping, passing large clots, went on for days and weeks, and real no closure for weeks until I got AF. My advice is to have the D&E or D&C. Just MHO.
