I completed an IVF cycle in early Oct. and was told I was pregnant on the 15th. My beta has continued to rise but only slowly and never doubled every 2-3 days. I had an US two weeks ago at 5wks6d that showed a small sac but nothing else. The doctor said that I would miscarry but 10 days later my beta is up another 100. I have had no spotting, cramping, nothing. And as if that was not enough I still feel pregnant with morning sickness, fatigue, & breast pain.

I know my beta level is not high enough to indicate a viable pregnancy at this point but this is so emotionally draining. They offered to do a D&C if I did not want to wait for it to happen naturally.

Has anyone experienced this? Why has my beta continued to rise when the fetus was lost 3+ weeks ago? Is no spotting or other symptoms odd? I am worried something is wrong.
