Does this sound like an impending m/c? Be honest please

I am 8w1d pg after IVF. I have had very low betas from the get go, that were initially doubling the first week or so, but now are rising very, very slowly. I did a beta today and it was only 4000. I also have really low progesterone and stopped taking my prometrium 3 weeks ago when I was told it looked like a inevitable m/c because of the low low hcg numbers. So, I've been basically waiting to m/c but my betas keep going up... very slowly, but still rising.

Finally today I had an u/s to see what was going on. They saw a sac measuring 6w1d and I am 8w1d, so it's 2 weeks behind. They also saw a hb that was 130 bpm. It really broke my heart to see this little flicker, b/c I wasn't expecting it. I figured they might see an empty sac or something and tell me to have a dnc.

My Dr isn't really straight up with me, he just says it might work out, it might not, we'll have to wait and see etc... I've been in beta limbo for 4 weeks now and just want to have some sort of answers. I was hoping someone here has had a similar experience that they can share. I personally think something is wrong with my little bean, with such low non doubling betas, spotting, low progesterone and measuring 2 weeks behind doesn't sound like good news to me... but after seeing that hb today is making me have some hope.

Does anyone have any honest opinions? Do you guys think I'll m/c eventually
