My first Beta was 54 prog 8. It did not double. At 5w my uterus was empty. At 6w my uterus had a sac no fetal pole, no heartbeat. At 7w I had a fetal pole and just a flicker of HB. At 8w the heartbeat was something crazy like 190+. I, being naive, was so excited. My uterus was a massive hematoma. The RE could not believe I wasn't bleeding but I was on progesterone. He told me that it was inevitable. My preganancy would end. I asked if I should stop the prog and he said, "No way!" At 9w, we no longer had a heartbeat. I was destroyed. I had a DCE and our DD had Triploidy 69XXX. Three sets of chromosomes.

If I were you I would get back on progesterone. You just never know. You may very well have a happy ending.

With my second pregnancy my numbers were low. My prog was very low. The pregnancy progressed slowly and my RE was not hopeful. But I have a wonderful 3yo to love right now.

You must have hope. Seeing that HB was the hope you need to hold onto. You have a baby in there who needs you to have hope.
