when I was going though my m/c last October was when a woman in our MOMS Club gave me an inspirational bracelet with Mark 5:34 engraved on it. The verse states, "Your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering." Seeing this on days when I was overwhelmed with grief and was incredibly helpful.

You sound like an awesome friend. I am sure the meal was greatly appreciated, and a lunch date may also give her the added push to get up and going.
