Prior to 16 weeks gestation, you will often see this- other than delaying amnio, no other impact of importance for most
Some data (we have reported some of this) that ACS after 16 weeks may be more common in pregnancies w/ chromosomal problems compared to normal pregnancies
structural abnormalities of the fetus seen on U/S (defects, thickened nuchal) have a stronger association w/ chromosomal problems than ACS
