Pg high beta...could this indicate problems? (Everything mentioned)

I have MANY issues except getting pregnant...my dh has a balanced translocation and we recently found out we have HLA issues...we have had 2 m/c, 1 failed ivf/pgd and then identical twins naturally...just found out we are pg again...had a beta...with the twins my beta was 846 about 4 weeks after AF...today mine was 7,196(First day of AF was March 16th)
could a higher beta indicate genetic issues in my case?
This was all natural..does that sound like a really high number?
we are choosing not to do steroids for the HLA issues...has anyone here taken steroids while pg?
I sure hope these are ok questions to post here..just not sure where to fit in with these questions!

(both m/c were 6&8 weeks so we are by no means out of the woods...just trying to figure out what is up with the high beta! :)
