Dr. - last question about Quad Test

Sorry to bombard you- I'll make this quick. Am i correct in that the reason this test is hardly a good tool for "advanced age" is that it is hard to get a good, or negative result once they factor in age? In other words, even with perfect MoM's on everything, once they factor in, lets say, age 39, it will bring down ratio anyways? I think this may be true, so I should be more relieved that my odds went DOWN at age 34... i do know this is only screening, etc etc. but just curious of the weight of maternal age. I have read it changes the results a lot, as opposed to the nuchal screening. thanks!
