I just had my 22 week ultrasound yesterday and the doctor is concerned about two things. This baby has the marker for kidney nephrosis (my 2 year old also had that and is currently well) and a spot on her abdomen. I am being sent for a level 2 ultrasound and more blood work to see if I was exposed to some of the less common viruses (I was already cleared for german measles, varicella and parvovirus).

What could a spot on the baby's abdomen be? Is this common?
