I keep mentioning this to the peri's I've seen since my brother has a severe case of colitis and they pretty much have disregarded it...maybe because I had a colonoscopy a few years ago and nothing abnormal was found. I only seem to have problems when I'm pg and the colonoscopy was done a couple months after one of my miscarriages. My brother says that he has flare-ups whenever he has any kind of infection...be it a cold, or sinus infection, or whatever. I wonder if my immune system is in overdrive whenever I'm pg. I'm not sure if there is blood in my stools--if so, it's not obvious. I don't think they checked for that when I gave a stool sample.
Anyway, thanks for the input...I may contact my primary care dr and see if I can get a referral.
