prolapsed uterus

I am 28 weeks with a severe prolapsed uterus. I have been on bed rest since I was 23 weeks and have to stay here until baby comes. I have a lot of pain and have been on pain meds for months now. I know I have to have a hysterectomy but want to know what to expect right now. My doctor doesn't know a whole lot about it but I've read a lot online that says I could deliver preterm. Has anyone else had this problem? What happened with you?
