adhesions found at level II u/s (live birth &recurrent loss mentioned)

Posted by cath9 on 17:14 8/20/2005:

I am currently 16w4days with a healthy pregnancy.
My doctor is checking my cervix every
two weeks for pre-term labor becuase of 12 previous losses that
included a D&E at 18 weeks and 3 D&Cs at 7, and 9 weeks (had to
do a repeat D&C because hcg kept rising). The rest of the losses
were either chemicals or before 7 weeks and resolved on their
own. I have not however ever had a loss due to incompetent
cervix or preterm labor and had 3 healthy pregnancies that went
to term prior to all the losses. However, they noted some
adhesions and sequalae near the cervix at my level II (not near the
placenta) and I'm wanting to find out if that puts me at higher risk
for pre-term labor in the pregnancy. I am 41 btw.
