CHRONIC BV-HELP!!!!

I am new here and was needing some advice.I am currently 20wks+5dys pregnant. I have been having a problem with BV since week 13.I was given Flagyl and took it.2 weeks later got it back and this time it was so bad it irritated my cervix and I was slightly bleeding and having contractions.Told I was at risk for preterm labor and was given again Flagyl to take 2xs a day for 1 week then 1 a day for 3 weeks.Still on it in my 3rd week and the infection is now back-even while ON Flagyl- and as bad as previous.Contractions bleeding and discharge too.Dr. said since I was taking the only antibiotic known to help he was unsure if there was anything else he could possible do.Since I am not 24 weeks considered viable L&D will not take me in to help me either.The BV is not from stds it is from another bacteria and I am scared.Tried for this baby girl for 5 years and I do not know what to do.Anyway had anyone had chronic BV with cervical irritation which is risking pre term labor? I need advice so badly right now.Not sure what to do but giving up is not an option and that seems to be what Dr. is wanting to do.Thanks for all who reply.
