You should see your OB right away. It's probably no big deal, but better to be careful. Rapid pulse was my first real sign of what turned out to be major heart problems in my pregnancy, due to a congenital heart defect that I never knew I had. (I was fine in the end, as were my babies, but it was a hairy time.)

A not insignificant percent of women with congenital heart defects find out about them for the first time when they have complications during pregnancy. If your heartrate is consistently that high even when resting, I'd think your OB would want to refer you for an echocardiogram to check out heart function.

I don't want to scare you - you are probably fine. But I wish someone had told me that very rapid heart-rate was NOT necessarily a normal pregnancy symptom.

Nancy
