I just found out i have autoimmune hypothyroidism starting and my endo said TSH levels should be between .5-2.5 There is some controversy regarding the upper end of normal b/c the lab reference is usually about 5.1 BUT most endo's say less than 2.5 or 2.0 is ideal and this is where he would want me if i got preg again. I am currently at 3.4 and while i was preg he wanted me to have TSH and Free T4 or T4 Index every 4-6weeks to adjust (i ended up mc). Your meds will need to be adjusted during your preg b/c preg changes your metabolic needs. Talk to your endo about how often they will check you. I was told if not preg don't have to watch as closely b/c your dose shouldn't change much once it's stabilized. Good luck
