SEE A SPECIALIST NOW! As soon as a dr. says he doesn't think there is anything else he can do then he is not the right doc for you and your current situation. Call your insurance and get the name of a perinatologist. Also so be safe find out which hospital in your area has the best NICU. At 18 wks my pregnancy went high risk and when my regular ob told me we are doing all we can it wasn't good enough. When I saw the specialist a week later the diagnosis was different as was treatment. I am currently 28 weeks in the hospital and being well taken care of. Finally to a point where my son has a chance and I am so thankful for the specialists that are treating me they really know what they are doing in special situations and regular ob's just don't.
