Here are my answers:

I'm also ttc and before I got the green light they tested me for all of the lupus antibodies that cause prblems in pregnancy (Anticardiolipid, antiphospholipid, anti-ro, anti-ssa, anti-la, etc.) While I was pregnant I saw my rheumatologist ever 3-4 weeks, the MFM doctor every 3 weeks until 20 weeks, then every 2 weeks until 28 weeks then every week until 34 weeks, then twice a week. I did not see an OB, I only saw a MFM doctor. I just went for my "Preconception counseling appointment" with the MFM doc who would see me if I got pregnant and he told me not to bother seeing an OB at all, that I should only see him, but I think that's because I'm a bit complicated. A consult may be worth your time to make sure that all of the meds you're on are okay during early pg.

Good luck! Feel free to email me through INCIID if I can help at all.

Amy
