My ob told me that a negative result is 97% indicative of NOT going into labor for 2 weeks and a positive result is not really "positive", it's just a not-negative. He said that a positive result means absolutely nothing. People who ARE in pre- or early labor apparently do have pos+ ffn, however, many people also have it and are NOT in early labor.
