high risk?
Posted by verojay on 17:13 11/17/2005:
I am starting to research this, but thought I would post here. Took 3 years+ to get pregnant the first time; then had tubal and lost the pregnancy. Got pregnant again....I had TERRIBLE carpal tunnel but fine until I got pre-eclampsia at around 30 weeks. My liver was failing as were kidneys (per urine and bloodwork), so we did emergency c-section at 35 weeks. My BP on the day of delivery was 190/100 and I had gained 10 lbs in 4 days. I am now 36 and took a pregnancy test today-after 10 months of trying, I have a positive test.
I assume I am considered high risk? and what are my chances of getting Pre-eclampsia again?
Thank you,
Veronica
