I had an appt. today-good heartbeat seen. As you saw in my other post-I had severe pre-eclampsia with my last. It started in week 30 or so and I gained 10 lbs that first week. I was so bloated (Face, hands); saw spots, abdomen hurt, etc. When I delivered, all liver and kidney functions (inclu. 24 hour catch) showed severe PE and liver/kidneys were failing. I needed emergency c/s and then was in the hospital for over a week due to bp not going down. Finally released and on meds for months. Dr. said it was one of the worse cases he ever saw.
Today BP seems to be creeping up already. I am normally very low-in the low 100's/70's. Today, I was 120/85-bottom number being of concern to my md. He said they need to monitor closely, since I am only going on 7 weeks. Would he put me on bp meds if it goes way up?
