Pre-Term Labor... (pg, ds, loss ment)

Posted by MareFL on 06:23 12/18/2005:

Hi Dr. C

I'm currently 8 weeks pg and am looking forward to a semi-complicated pg. I gave birth june 2004 at 24 weeks to a little boy that only lived 6 days. The determination that put me in the hospital was preterm labor, dialted to 3.5 cm with a bulging bag of waters. And with my 1st son, i had PTL at 32 weeks (lots of braxton hicks, dialated to 3 cm) had 2 weeks hospital bedrest (mag sulfate, terbutaline pills), and he was born at 35w6d.

I'm going to be under the care of a PERI and my reg ob/gyn. I'm getting a cerclage at 13-14 weeks, and i'm going to take 17p. Is there anything else i should do and do you feel 17p is helpful?

Thank you!

Marian
