Pregnancy complications

Dr. Cusick,
I had a second trimester bleed during my last pg (unknown etiology) and preterm labor diagnosed at 28 weeks. I also required surgery for retained placenta/postpartum hemorrhage. So, am I statistically more predisposed for PTL and/or retained placenta in a subsequent pregnancy? Could the bleed have precipitated the PTL?
