5 wk and spotting very scared
I am new to this board and was hoping to get some insight on my situation. I had a bfp after doing ivf and am now 5w1d past lmp. I had implantation spotting for a few days which stopped for a week. Yesterday I had brown spotting and again today more spotting and it was pinkish. I am on prometrium capsules. I went into my clinic today because of the spotting, and had a hcg which came back at 13,472 and then had a u/s which measured a yolk sac at 5.1wk with no fetal pole seen yet. They noted some hemorraging outside of the sac, and I am wondering if that is possibly why I am spotting? What is the cause of this? They said my cervix was closed, but I am still at risk of miscarriage. Also, if my beta # are so high, shouldn't they see a fetal pole by now? Is a high beta anything to worry about?
