Still on bedrest and contractions continue. Would it be safe to assume

There has been no cervical change, but I continue to contract ranging from 1 every few hours to 5 min apart for several hrs. My OB is thinking the baby is low and the contractions may subside then. Also commented on irritable uterus. He is sending me to a Peri on Feb 8 (20 wks) for a second look.

I am concerned that if it is irritable uterus - will they or should they take me off bedrest?

Could the contractions change into producing contractions?
