Amnio question

I've read that the risk of loss from an amnio is anywhere from 1:200 to 1:400. If one decides to have an amnio, how long does this risk last in the pregnancy after the amnio? Does the loss happen within the first 48 hours, the first 2 weeks after, or when does the risk go down after the amnio. thank you for your time.
