My girl had the cyst and everything was fine..............m

I don't know anything about kidneys but we had an u/s at 20 weeks and they found a cyst in her brain. I of course freaked out and was so worried. They said they would need to see other markers like clenched fists to make them think it was something to worry about. I think it was Trisomy 13 that would have been the concern. They had me do the quad test and everything came back fine. I had opted not to do the quad before but after the news they said it would probably make me feel better. They said most of the cysts are completely gone in a few months but they have to mention them. It would have been better for me to not know because I was so stressed. I did find a lot of info online and everything that I read said people had healthy babies. I would think the kidneys are a separate issue than the cyst but I have no idea. I know it is stressful. Hang in there and wait until your next u/s. I wouldn't worry about the cyst but would try to get more info on the kidneys. Just my 2 cents. There is so much they can do now on babies while they are in the womb. Stay positive.
