High heart rate after walking, stairclimbing-is this normal?

Posted by hoping2006 on 23:56 9/12/2006:

At an appt a few wks ago, my endocrinologist said my heart rate was 120. I had been resting for at least 1/2 hour. I took it easy and kept track of it over the weekend, and it was usually 90-105 at rest.

At an appt yesterday, my heart rate was 129 after slowly walking from the car to my dr's office. It stayed elevated (around 110) for an hour despite rest. I've been tracking it--it is usually 82-90 at rest, then goes up to around 105 after climbing stairs in my house.

What is a normal heart rate during pregnancy? At what point is it dangerous for the baby? I'm concerned that my heart rate is much higher during activity if it is that high after activity. I don't have any dizziness or noteworthy shortness of breath. (But I do get winded w/ exertion.) I am 21 wks pregnant.
