I'm sorry that you are having difficulty getting information and that you are facing this scare with your pregnancy.
In Jan of this year, a 10 mm cystic hygroma was found during my 11 1/2 NT u/s. I had a a CVS which showed the 45x karyotype (Turner Syndrome). By 14 wks, the cystic hygroma was more than 16 mm, my baby developed hydrops, and abnormalities were found on the u/s (bowel and heart.) So my situation is different than yours, but I did do a lot of research. I discovered that it was difficult to find much written information about outcomes.
When you go to the major hospital, will you be able to meet with a genetics dr or genetics counselor? I found that to be very helpful.
This article was very informative. I was actually receiving care from one of the hospitals involved in this study. If you follow the link, you'll get an abstract. The full text article- with more info- is available by clicking on the right.
