I am sorry to hear what you are going through. My baby also has a soft marker (a cyst in his brain). As scary as it is from everything I read all that is is a soft marker. It does not mean anything is for sure. On the other board http://choroidplexuscyst.org I am on there are people who had echogenic foci and choroid plexus cysts and thier babies where fine. It is extremely possible to have a baby with one soft marker and then have a normal baby. From everything I have read soft markers seem to have a high rate of false positve.
Did you doctor talk to you about odds or ratios yet. With a normal AFP and no other markers your odds of a normal baby should be pretty good from everything I read.
