Cervix question

Had UTI/dehydration which resulted in cramping for 1 1/2 days. Prior to this I could palpate my cervix (learned to do this while TTC). Now my cervix is up much higher and difficult to reach. My question is this RT just normal progression of pregnancy or possible shortened cervix?
