Lidocaine First Trimester

Hi Dr. Cusick,
Is lidocaine allowed in the first trimester for mole removal? I have history of melanoma in-situ and a spot I want off. It isn't that worrisome so I could probably wait until later first trimester, but was curious if it made any difference. Also, should I request no epinephrine or does that not matter? Thanks!
