Cervical length questions
Thank you for your time. Not sure if u remember me, so fast history.
First pg, ptl at 28wks, birth at 33wks after mag/terb/hospital br.
Dx of UC (finally under control w/ pred, 40mg), IGA deficiency, APS.
This pg, i began ctx at 15wks, no pattern. Thought to be result of my UC flare. (now under control). Last nite, oncall sent me to L&D due to pressure/cramps, ect.
ffn-neg (neg. during 1st pg, delivered 3 days later), u/s and cervical lenght done. Cervical length went from 3.9 (two wks ago at level 2 u/s) to 3.1 last night. Is this a significant decrease over just two wks? I know anything over 3 is thought to be ok, but im worried. Does this mean that my ctx are producing ctx rather than say just "irritable uterus"??? Should further monitoring happen and when? And should contraction control begin??? (im on 17p already).
