Crinone residue?

For awhile I've been discharging grayish specks, which a few days ago became rather sizeable grayish clots. RE thought it was Crinone residue. (However, Crinone is white, so why the color change?)
Any concerns about this residue becoming impacted/infected? I'm 7w5d from FET with donor eggs on 2/8/07. U/S showed a healthy hb and good measurements on 3/15.
