endocardiac cushion defect with small left ventricle

Our baby has been diagnosed with this diagnosis. The doctor mentioned the possibility for Down's and other defects. My AFP came back at 1:2800 at 34 years old. I also had an elarged placenta with bleeding. My questions are:
1) Where can I get more info on this diagnosis and treatment/surgeries
2) Would you still be concerned re. chormosome abnormalities even with this AFP test and diagnosis.
