I REALLY do not mean that last post to sound at all argumentative - as a scientist, I have an unfortunate tendency to over-research (and too much access to medical journals through my university!), so I was just trying to calm myself by accepting your advice. Still, some of the papers I have read seem less sanguine.
One example is:
Alagappan R, Browning PD, Laorr A, McGahan JP (1994): Distal lateral ventricular atrium: reevaluation of normal range. Radiology 193:405-8
But the study below measured fetuses up to 40 weeks, and also had a mean of 6+mm.
Almog B, Gamzu R, Achiron R, et al. Fetal lateral ventricular width: What should be its upper limit? A prospective cohort study and reanalysis of the current and previous data. J Ultrasound Med. 2003;22:39-43
Anyway, my apologies if that post sounded adversarial - that was not at all my intention, I have just been a nervous wreck ever since the finding of isolated ventriculomegaly, and was trying to convince myself to accept your calming reply!
