Advice Please............

I was wondering if anyone can make sense of this?? My wife and I (age 32) had and IPS done (Canada), where they test for D/S, etc - they do a blood test, U/S and NT scan, and another blood test a few weeks after, etc. by approx. 16 weeks. Our results came back 1:56000 for D/S and 1/6000 for Trisomy 18, NT was 1.9mm, it probably couldn't be anymore negative.... We had our 20 week ultrasound, (she is almost 22 weeks now) the other day and our OB was concerned that the babies 2 brain ventricles were a little big, Fetal Ventriculomegaly - normal I guess is under 10mm and one is 9 and one is 10. Our NT measurement is now 7mm at almost 22 weeks, and the Dr. said the cerebellum is a little small??? We were very relieved a few months ago when we got our IPS results back, but now we are very concerned. The Dr. and genetics councillor really couldn't explain what is happening. Heart and Hr is good, Femur and all measurements were good, everything else is fine other than what I mentioned. The spine is good too. The Dr. said an amnio, and MRI is an option to help figure this all out. He said it may just be how the baby is growing, and everything is normal...... Is it possible to develop a chromosomal problem after 14weeks?? Wouldn’t this be evident right from the beginning??? Any suggestions as what we may be dealing with?????
Thanks,
