Placenta previa?

Hi Dr. Cusick, During the course of our 11-plus week NT ultrasound (in which the babe looked just fine) the doc mentioned signs of placenta previa--he said placenta is currently blocking baby's way out. And he recommended no intercourse for a month due to the possibility of bleeding? Sounds like kind of a long time! Please tell me more about this condition and whether it's likely to correct? I'm 48, but our donor egg was only 27, and this was our last-chance FET...Thanks!
