My OB did the cervical length u/s at 14 weeks to give us a baseline. He said it won't really mean anything until 16+ weeks, but having that baseline will let us know if there are changes that might affect our decisions to do a cerclage, etc. My next cervical length ultrasound is at 18 weeks. My last check showed that the cervical length had not changed from 14 weeks at all.
