Not all abnormal Pap smears are the same.
Some just show an infection, others show precancerous chances, and still others show more serious changes.
What you need to ask your ObGyn is what those changes are exactly.
I am also concerned about your history of conization. You should discus with your doctor if you are at risk for incompetent cervix and what to do about it.
