The next week, when I was 5 wks, 6 days, my RE (a different doctor) did an ultrasound and felt concerned that he wasn't seeing as much of the fetal pole as he expected. He gave me 50/50 odds of this pregnancy progressing. He was pleased with what he saw of the yolk sac, etc., but clearly he had some doubts and told me to consider that this may not be a viable pregnancy.
Though you aren't able to see the scan, what is your impression based on these findings? At 5 wks, 6 days, it seems that *much* is still waiting to be seen and that I can still be hopeful. Another u/s is scheduled in 10 days for follow-up and a more definitive look at how things are developing.
Thank you for any thoughts you may be able to offer.
