My test at 16 wks was slightly elevated. I think it was 2.48. Anyway they did a level 2 u/s and the perinatal specialist said he could not see any abnormalities or spinal defects. I am just wondering do they look for downs markers as well? He also said he did not recommend an amnio since the test was so slightly elevated. I did not retest the afp. Should I be at ease with this diagnosis? I am still a little worried that they may have missed something? Please give me your opinion on that? They also said I may be a risk for sex chromosomal problems from ICSI.
