I just found out that I am 7 weeks pregnant. This is my 8th pregnancy and all have resulted in miscarriages.
This is the first time I have been put on progesterone and hopefully that will work. I am also taking heparin, twice daily, to prevent blood clotting. I have been for three vaginal ultrasounds in the last 3 weeks. Everything seems to be normal.
The fetus is at 7 weeks, but the sac is at 9 weeks, is this a problem?? The size of the baby was 5mm at 6 weeks, does this sound normal. The hearbeat was 125bpm at 6 weeks as well. I am seeing a high risk specialist and she was not concerned about any of the above. I am probably worrying for nothing but I want to be sure.
Also, if the fetus size is 7 weeks, how do I figure out the due date without using the last menstrual cycle??
