Difficulty urinating

I am 13 wks pg. I woke up at 3:00 a.m. with a full bladder, but could not urinate for about 10 minutes. Bladder pressure was painful. I even tried putting my fingers in a glass of cold water. Finally, I eliminated slowly but surely. No burning at all. Doctor has me on macrobid as precaution re UTI. Elimation of urine has been slow with all of my pregnancies, but I thought it was from progesterone slowing everything down.

In the past when my endometriosis was at its worse, I occasionally had to have urethra dialated. Also, during endo surgery, ureters had to be disected away from scar tissue. What do you think this could be caused by? I'm scared that ureters or urethra will constrict and I'll have to be cathertized. Thank you.
