Meds for anxiety and depression, Dr. pls advise?

I have SAD (Seasonal Affective disorder) and normally I take Serzone and Ativan from Sept. until April. I did not take the meds this year as I am pg. I did not even inquire with my doc about taking because I figured I could "handle" it. I need some help. I can probably deal with the depression, but I am having trouble with anxiety and cannot sleep at all and very anxious during the day. Do you know of any meds that I can take safely. I am 12w 4d. I also have hypertension.
