I started spotting randomly, sometimes heavy sometimes not... but never at a predictable time. My OB's advice was to take the week off every 3 months. My RE said not to do that and to try a different pill. Everyone makes a different amount of estrogen already, so by finding a pill with a different formula you may have better luck was his reasoning. I switched to the generic Ortho Novum 135's and take them every day, have since Sept. Other than hair loss(not serious, just annoying) I think this particular formula is best for me.
