Default when should you get laproscopy to check for endo?

    Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to answer all of our questions, that is no easy task I'm sure!

My question is this, should I have laproscopy to see if I have endo? My doctor doesn't think I have it based on my descriptions of my periods. I've heard that sometimes the only symtom of endo is infertility. My husband and I have been ttc for 14 months now. We've done two rounds of 50mg of clomid getting two mature follicles both times.

I do not advise routine LS for infertility. It does not help much. Safer to do up to 6 clomid cycles with IUI and move to IVF if not pregnant. The actual diagnosis will not affect management as surgery often futile since most endo are microscopic. Hope that helps.

This is not a medical advice
