Endometriosis and IVF
My wife just had surgery for a serious case of Endometriosis. They were able to save most of the parts but her tubes took a huge hit and non-functional at this point.
The doctor has let us know we need IVF in order to get pregnant and have begun the process of discovery.
My question is how long do you typically have before the Endometriosis kicks back up and we have to repeat the process again?
this is very variable. If she conceives, then the hormone of pregnancy will suppress endometriosis. Wish her the very best.
Endometriosis can influence fertility in several ways: distorted anatomy of the pelvis, adhesions, scarred fallopian tubes, inflammation of the pelvic structures, altered immune system functioning, changes in the hormonal environment of the eggs, impaired implantation of a pregnancy, and altered egg quality.
For most common medicines, endometriosis would kicks back up only several days after you stop taking the medicines. While for IVF is would different from individuals, maybe you Only need to it once, and endometriosis would never kicks back up again. However, it may kicks back up in a short time in some cases.
Luckily, there is an herbal therapy"fuyan pill" which has been proven effective that it could eliminate all endometriosis symptoms without reoccur.
And if you still have any questions, online doctors, such as Wuhan Dr. Lee’s TCM Clinic, could offer online help to you.
