Repeat laproscopy prior to donor egg cycle

Hi.

Do you recommend repeating a laproscopy prior to another IVF cycle using donor eggs?

Background:

Had 2 laproscopy's done over the past 8 years. Found endo. on my ovaries, colon, etc. Nothing was ever found in my uterus. Last surgery was 2 years ago.

Diagnosed with turners mosaic in my early 30's. Now, 39. Turned to donor eggs.

IVF with DE - chemical pg.
FET with DE - loss at 7 weeks after h/b
FET with DE - healthy daughter. Now, 5 years old.
FET with DE - loss at 8 weeks after h/b. Horrible betas (up and down from the start).
FET with DE - negative cycle.
FET with DE - didn't survive the thaw.
None left.

All cycles were with the same donor.

We would like to try another donor egg cycle. Do you recommend repeating a lap. again in order to help with implantation or possible immune issues?

Also, I've had the typical immune panel done. I have MTHFR hetero..I think it is T67771. Everything else was normal.

LS has no beneficial effect on outcome. I would avoid it unless you have severe pain. Otherwise I would test for NK activation assay as m/c and chem preg could be due to immune implantation failure associated with endometriosis.

Hi. Thank you for responding.

I will need to check my re and make sure I had the NK activation assay done. If I did and it was normal, is there anything else that I should have him check? Or, could it just be bad luck?

The etiologies could be; genetic, hormonal, anatomic, immunological and environmental causes. A standard evaluation should include blood work (prothrombin II, protein C, protein S, leiden factor V mutation, TSH, PRL, fasting insulin and karyotyping) and office hysteroscopy. Bad luck" does not explain this. A full immune work-up needs to be ordered and should include NK avtivation assay and anti-phospholipid ab's. That can be ordered from millenova.com
