Dear Dr.Gordon,
this is the first time I am writing on this forum (I'm writing from Italy). I have a question for you: I know that in Europe, ICSI and PICSI methods combined with ICSI are commonplace compared to Italy. Some weeks ago we have undertaken an ICSI in Italy with a negative result. 3 embryos of 8 and 6 cells each didn't implant in the utero. My hubby has poor quality sperm (normal shapes, quantity, speed). At present we are considering whether to go abroad to try ICSI + other methods of sperms selection. We wish to know the percentage of improvement (and how significantly it is) of ICSI employing PICSI and/or IMSI method or whether there are some data in literature. Furthermore, why are some centres in Europe currently phasing PICSI method out ? We do not know whether in the U.S. it is happening the same. I look forward to hearing from you Best regards |

Honestly I have no experience with PICSI and had to Google it to find out what it was
Good luck DrG 100infertilityquestions.blogspot.com |
