According to the federal gov't statistics as recorded by SART (www.sart.org) in 2008 there were 140K cycles of GC with live birth rates of 12-44% (going from age 42 to less than 35). In my experience, the chances of ongoing pregnancy are good when good quality embryos are transferred to a GC, but not higher than 50-60%. Without knowing the exact data about the embryos, the stimulation cycle, the preparation of the GC's lining, etc, it is impossible to say exactly what the prognosis would be however having 1 biochemical pregnancy out of 2 transfers is not unheard of. I would ask your program what their results are in each age catagory.
